8 Meaningful Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Mother’s Day is coming up and I know what it’s like to draw a blank on gift ideas. If you’re looking for something fun for the moms in your life, here are some new ideas!

  1. Reusable water bottle

If you read my blog or follow me on social media, you know that I’m not about excess consumption. One of my favorite items is my reusable water bottle. It goes everywhere with me! Our family is almost exclusively a Hydroflask family. They’re double-insulated, all stainless steel, and have no plastic lining. Hydroflask also sells growlers, so if your gal digs brew from a local tap room, give these a whirl.

2.  Plants

Instead of buying a quick bouquet, how about something that can be planted? A flowering bush or fruiting plant can be the gift that keeps giving. (Try a pink lemonade blueberry bush or an Arctic Beauty kiwi plant!)

3. Thunder gourds, wind chimes, bells

Speaking of gardens, why not offer something to hang outside? Great for those who don’t have a green thumb or those who are apartment dwellers.

4. Jewelry

I have friends that sell their beautiful wares here. Whether Mom digs funky, fancy, or functional, you’re sure to find something to suit her tastes.

5. Donate

If Mom already has everything or doesn’t want anything more, consider a contribution to her favorite charity. If she doesn’t have one, select one with a mission she holds close to her heart.

6. Cookbook & cookware

If mom has a lingering interest in something culinary, indulge it! Pick her up a book on bread baking or vinegars or canning and a set of pans or utensils or jars to go along.

7. Framed photo

These photo frames are great gifts for grandmas that live far away. Just email photos directly to the frame any time you capture a cute shot!

8. Overalls

Okay, this might seem a little off, but they’ve been my fave Mother’s Day gift to date, so I felt like I should include them. They’re not haute-couture overalls, just good ol’ fashion Dickies. Wanna make it extra fun? Pick up a pair of these pickle or jam socks. They’re actually super cozy and go along with the cute, country theme!

Happy Mother’s Day!
